Pennsic Firewood Information

Greetings!

Please be aware that the state of Pennsylvania has instituted a ban on the transportation of hardwood firewood into or out of the Pennsic area.

Do not bring firewood with you to Pennsic. Please use firewood purchased locally (at or near Pennsic) and do not take unused firewood home with you after War.

For exact details, please see the "Firewood Quarantine in Butler County" page on the Pennsic website.

Where Firewood Comes From

As we already know, firewood cannot be taken in or out of Butler County. Holly at Cooper's Lake has informed me that the two firewood suppliers who have been on site in the past, Reichert's and Brian McMurdy, will be at Pennsic again this year. They will provide wood cut within Butler County. Those wishing to avail themselves of this service will find signs posted at Troll and at Cooper's Store.

Remember, unused firewood should not be taken home at the end of Pennsic.
